Nestled between Abruzzo and Molise, the Valle del Trigno is a land where time seems to slow down — where ancient stone villages cling to hilltops, local artisans still practice centuries-old crafts, and the table is an act of culture. This 2-day/1-night experience invites you to step off the beaten path and into a world of genuine Italian hospitality.
On the first day, you are welcomed into one of the valley's historic borghi, exploring its architecture, traditions, and stories. Lunch is served at one of our carefully selected restaurants, known for quality and warmth of service. In the afternoon, a second village visit deepens your immersion in the region's soul. The evening brings a memorable dinner enriched by a rare encounter with local producers who share their passion for extra virgin olive oil, Tintilia del Molise wine, vino cotto, artisan cured meats, and other specialties. You may even place personal orders directly with the producers.
The second day begins with breakfast, then continues with a visit to the Castle and medieval village of Palmoli and the fascinating Museo degli Antichi Mestieri (Museum of Ancient Crafts). After lunch in the valley, you collect any artisan products ordered the night before. Before departing, a final stop at the Sanctuary of Madonna del Cannetto and the Roman Villa offers a quiet, spiritual close to your journey.
