Easy

Spend three days in Archi, the “Terrace on the Sangro”, and live the atmosphere of Pichuco Festival , the event dedicated to Aníbal Troilo and the vibrant world of tango. Between music, stories of migration and breathtaking views over the Valle dell’Aventino and Val di Sangro, you will discover an Abruzzo village that combines authenticity, culture and hospitality.

The package is designed around the opening days of the festival, so you can fully enjoy milongas, concerts and performances while keeping your base in the historic landscape of Archi. Guided visits to Roccascalegna castle and Archi’s old town frame the experience with history and panoramas, while carefully selected meals introduce you to regional cuisine and the Italian‑Argentinian connection that defines the festival.

If you wish, you can enrich your stay with an excursion to Tornareccio, renowned in Abruzzo as a “honey village”, and a visit to Apicoltura Finocchio or Apicoltura Luca Finocchio to taste different local honeys directly from the producer. These options are not part of the base package and can be added during the check‑out process

Comfortable shoes and layered clothing are recommended, especially for evening events outdoors during the festival. Pichuco Festival’s detailed programme (times and artists) may vary slightly depending on the edition, but the spirit of the homage to Aníbal Troilo and the tango heritage of Archi remains at the heart of the experience.

        • Guided visit of Archi on Sunday operates with small groups of a maximum of 25 participants per group.
        • The experience is suitable for adults and older teenagers who can enjoy evening music events; younger children are welcome under the full responsibility of their parents, considering late‑night festival hours.
