Ancient Traditions & Wild Herbs: The Goddess Doll Workshop in Abruzzo
A Journey into Italian Folklore, Botanical Wisdom, and Sacred Craftsmanship
Step into the mystical heart of Anversa degli Abruzzi for a day dedicated to the "slow practices" of our ancestors. This immersive experience workshop is a tribute to Italian heritage and the healing power of nature. Your journey begins with a guided walk through the pristine Abruzzo landscape, where you will learn to identify wild herbs—edible, therapeutic, and protective.
As we gather plants historically linked to the protection of the hearth and home, we transition from the field to the workshop. Under expert guidance, you will craft your own "Goddess Doll" (La bambola della Dea), a sacred figure made of hand-wrapped wool and filled with the herbs collected during the morning. This ancient talisman is designed to watch over your home for the seasons to come. The day is punctuated by a convivial vegetarian lunch, celebrating the authentic flavors of the territory and the warmth of Italian hospitality.
