My Journey – From Villamagna to borGO
I was born and raised in Villamagna, a small village in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo.
Since childhood, I’ve been curious about the world — meeting new people, exploring cultures, and listening to stories from across Canada, Switzerland, and Venezuela, where parts of my family lived.
Growing up with this international spirit, I always felt a tension between looking outward and holding on to my roots.
While on Erasmus in Valencia (2019), I saw how Spain made people fall in love with local culture — and I asked myself:
Why not Abruzzo? Why not home?
That question became the seed of borGO.
The Spark of an Idea

The pandemic challenged everything, including this dream. Travel paused, but my mission didn’t.
I kept working in the tourism industry, learning, adapting, and slowly shaping borGO with every experience and every challenge.
In 2025, after an inspiring trip to Colombia, borGO officially came to life.
Since then, it’s been a shared journey with local communities, friends, and travelers like you.
Resilience and Reinvention
borGO is not just a project — it’s the answer I was searching for. And now, it can be yours too.
